This movie is cool I have it.

Movie's good, but it could use more action. Hero seems too soft - but the girl is great so I lived through it.

I merely skimmed through the script, but from what I read I think what really made the movie great was the director (Gary Marshall) and the main cast. The script could have just as easily been translated into a cheesy love flick. The movie is light entertainment and one of the most enjoyable love comedies that there are. What's really brilliant though is that the filmmakers made it appear a family movie that is so romantic when the story really is about a guy "renting" a woman for a week for physical purposes. That's what I call American-Purist subtlety.

I think this film is good, but it's a bit boring too. My mum loves this film and I think it's ok.

PHYLLIS (10 out of 10 )
I would have to rate this film as one of my favorite top 10. Anytime I am surfing on TV and I see this movie I watch it. I don't care what part is playing.

Cheyne Nomura (9 out of 10 )
Quite possibly my favorite Rom-Com. Very original writing and wonderful storyline.

Jeffery Miller (10 out of 10 )
By far one of the best movies of all time. I can watch it over and over and over every day all day.

Valerio Cugia (10 out of 10 )
Having seen the film three times it was a great experience to read this master script. It's not easy to redo the Cinderella story but J. F. Lawton managed with genial inventiveness and human credibility. While we're taken by Vivian's changes, in manners and dresses, it's the changes occurring in Edward that are the most original to watch. Through her he's finally looking at himself and he doesn't like what he sees. The script remains light on the surface but deep in the message of changing for the better. A perfect example of a script to took up to.
